Frazier agreed to a two-year, $17 million deal with the Mets on Monday night, according to multiple reports.

Frazier played for the Toms River, New Jersey Little League team that won the Little League World Series in 1998 and was later a star with Rutgers.

Frazier hit.213 with a.772 OPS between Chicago and NY last season while cutting his strikeout rate as K's rose across the league. He hit.207 with 16 home runs and 44 RBI in 81 games for the White Sox. He played the first five seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Reds, before being traded to the White Sox before the 2016 campaign.

Germany now progress to the quarter-finals while Australia face a play-off in September to try and remain in the World Group. Later, he said he was devastated not to be able to produce his best for Australia and team captain Lleyton Hewitt .

A steady player on defense during his entire career, Frazier has played in the All-Star Game twice and will be 32 next week.

With Frazier now in the fold, the Mets can start Asdrubal Cabrera at second base and put Jose Reyes in a utility backup role, where he better fits at this point in his career.

If the market continues to tank, maybe the Mets will get to sign even more free agents.

Though there has been some talk this offseason about Frazier playing other positions, he is likely to play third base for the Mets.
