Father's 911 call to report Joe Clyde Daniels missing

Later, authorities confirmed they arrested Joe's father, Joseph Daniels, and charged him with homicide. It was determined that Joseph Daniel intentionally killed his son the night of April 3rd or 4th in their residence and then hid his son's body.

Investigators now believe that Joseph Ray Daniels killed his son in their home, early in the morning Wednesday.

The case turned from a missing persons investigation to a criminal investigation Friday, after investigators and volunteers had searched for three days for the little boy.

Authorities confirmed numerous tips came in concerning possible evidence or sightings of the boy who's non-verbal and has an autism spectrum disorder. Police are still searching for the boy's body.
