Rams ship WR Austin to Cowboys for sixth-round pick

Are the Dallas Cowboys any closer to replacing Dez Bryant?

The Dallas Cowboys finally made a trade on draft day, acquiring WR Tavon Austin from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a 2018 sixth round draft pick (No. 192).

Austin will be a player to keep an eye on in free agency to see how he's used and if his production goes up, but as for now, he's an afterthought in terms of fantasy wide receivers and is still outside of the top-100.

Austin had 1,689 career yards receiving in five disappointing seasons with the Rams after getting drafted eighth overall in 2013.

Jurgen Klopp defends Liverpool's Dejan Lovren
Liverpool host AS Roma in the first leg of their semi-final encounter - with a place in May's showpiece in Kiev on offer over the next eight days.

Austin's 288 catches at West Virginia and 3,413 receiving yards remain school records, as do the 344 rushing yards he amassed in a 50-49 loss to Oklahoma in 2012. For his career he's averaged a running back-like 8.7 yards per catch.

"I'm just the type of guy who wants the ball in my hands any type of way", Austin told ESPN.com's Alden Gonzalez in June. Dallas drafted Michael Gallup in the third round Friday.

Stephen Jones said on Saturday that the team feels it can get Tavon Austin 12 touches per game, which would be an astronomical number compared to the action he saw last season, or lack thereof.
