Tom Arnold Claims "Apesh*t" Mark Burnett Attacked Him Over Trump Tapes

Tom Arnold Claims ‘Apes**t’ Mark Burnett Attacked Him At Pre-Emmys Party

But it was not clear who may have initiated the violence.

A battery report was filed by the actor on Monday, Variety reported Monday. No further details were immediately available, Herrera said.

Arnold's upcoming TV show, The Hunt for the Trump Tapes will air this week and depicts his attempts to find the alleged recordings, which he has insisted exist and show the president - his former friend - expressing bigoted views during the filming of The Apprentice. The actor has a new Viceland show called The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold, which chronicles his quest to uncover the potentially damaging tapes of the now-president during his Apprentice days. The Los Angeles Police Department has also not commented on the incident.

Since the incident, there have been a few updates from other Hollywood celebrities in attendance who either witnessed the altercation to some extent, or saw Arnold after.

Mr. Arnold has insisted since 2016 that Mr. Burnett has access to racist outtakes from NBC's "The Apprentice" but refuses to make them public.

The source claims to ET that Arnold had a camera crew in tow on Sunday night and allegedly heard the cameraman say, "Oh good, I got it all". Burnett has denied the allegation, but that didn't stop the conflict from coming to a head last night on the red carpet.

Officials said some 1.7 million people in the Carolinas and Virginia were warned to evacuate, but it's unclear how many did. Tom Ballance said his wife went to Atlanta and he stayed behind in their New Bern home with their three dogs and a cat.

"Bryan will...has to talk", Arnold replied.

Both men were allowed into the party after things cooled down, but the fight and accusations continued on social media, with Burnett's wife Roma Downey accusing Arnold of assault and Arnold accusing Burnett of "choking" him in what Arnold's lawyer called an "unprovoked attack". A source close to the situation said she tried to grab Burnett's crucifix, a symbol of deep religious significance to Burnett, as it fell off his neck.

Arnold says Downey is lying and he plans to sue her for defamation. Arnold later claimed Burnett choked him. Arnold said at TCA event in July.

Last night, tensions between the two men seemed to boil over, as they both converged on a pre-Emmy fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund in Century Park. But word of the scuffle spread quickly.

But Arnold describes it much more violently in a tweet sent out just before 9:30.
