DOCTOR WHO Drops Trailers for Next Episode and This Series' Guest Stars

Jodie Whittaker is definitely not from

Doctor Who Online called it an "evolutional change", the most significant of its kind since the long-running show was revived in 2005.

It's not just my friends and I who dug it, though, as it's looking like fans across the world thought it lived up to the high expectations. Not that you'd have expected that so early on in the season anyway, but there was admittedly more death in that first episode than some would have suspected. What did you think of the new Doctor Who premiere? Naturally, she also comes with her distinctive sonic screwdriver, because ... well, why wouldn't she. Don't get me wrong, I really like what I've seen of the companions so far, but I can't find a compelling reason why Grace couldn't have come along for the ride too. If Chibnall must put a little Broadchurch into his version of Doctor Who - complete with interpersonal family drama, tear-jerking funerals, and people looking forlornly across vast grassy plains - then so much the better. "You know this not a goal break for the show, this is absolutely within the rules and the law of this extraordinary series". There's a lot of reasons for this: a new incarnation of a Doctor is a big thing!

Five minutes was apparently all it took for the Thirteenth Doctor to convert the Tenth Doctor from a seasoned series insider into a giddy, wide-eyed fan.

Most importantly for the children in the audience, we were able to communicate both the excitement of scientific research, and the feasibility of becoming a professional scientist regardless of your background. "(And I've rarely had a hard time with accents)". Can there be any better role model for budding young scientists?
