Trump hammers Acosta as 'terrible' in epic showdown

You are a rude terrible person! Trump and CNN's Acosta get into shouting match

President Donald Trump berated a CNN reporter, calling him a "rude, awful person" during a heated press conference at the White House on Wednesday.

"Those are some of the people who decided for their own reason not to embrace - whether it's me or what we stand for", Trump told reporters.

The president told him his time was done, telling him to sit down and to stop being a "rude, bad person". "You shouldn't be working for CNN", he said. He continued, "It's a-it's a-a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S".

It's certainly not a shining moment in the USA presidency, for sure.

Acosta started out by saying he was challenging Trump's description of a caravan of migrants coming from Guatemala and Honduras, intent on entering illegally to request asylum, as an "invasion".

After some more back and forth, Acosta noted that the caravan is still hundreds of miles away from the US.

If you can't bring yourself to watch it, Acosta asked Trump about his repeated claims that immigrants and refugees constitute an "invasion", when Trump responded, "Honestly, I think that you should let me run the country".

Alexander defended Acosta calling him a "diligent reporter who busts his butt".

Apple cancels production boost for iPhone XR: Nikkei
Originally Apple had ordered 20 million of the last generation model but has since raised the order to 25 million. Last week, Apple did warn that sales for this holiday quarter are likely to miss the expectations of Wall Street.

"I never anxious about it because I've never used racist remarks", Trump told a Yahoo reporter.

Acosta still refused to quit badgering, prompting Trump to say: "Just sit down please".

Trump says he's been hearing about investigations since he began running for president and refers to it as "investigation fatigue".

He said he has never seen anything like Acosta's fiery exchange with Trump.

President Trump said Wednesday that a reporter's question about whether he foments white nationalism was a "racist" question. "You aren't the best".

"On the campaign trail you called yourself a nationalist", she asked. Go ahead. You are a very rude person, the way that you treat Sarah Huckabee Sanders is terrible. "I'm fighting back not for me, I'm fighting back for the people of this country", he said. You're a very rude person. "The way you treat other people is disgusting!"

"Very hostile. Such a hostile media. I give her a great deal of credit for what she's done and what she's accomplished", Mr Trump said. "That's such a racist question", Trump said to Alcindor, who is black.
