Trump threatens to revoke more White House press passes after Acosta

President Donald Trump speaks to CNN journalist Jim Acosta during a news conference in the East Room of the White House

When asked about the White House's decision on Wednesday to revoke press credentials for CNN's Jim Acosta, Trump railed against other reporters and targeted April Ryan, with whom the White House has sparred before, calling Ryan a "loser" and "nasty".

"Look, I don't think he's a smart person, but he's got a loud voice", he added.

A visibly angry Trump called reporter Jim Acosta a "rude, awful person", after the CNN White House correspondent refused the president's orders to sit down and yield the microphone during the conference one day after the USA midterm election.

Jimmy Kimmel is weighing in on the ongoing feud between the White House and CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

Acosta began his series of questions by saying he wanted to "challenge" Trump on his decision to call the latest Central American migrant caravan traveling to the USA up through Mexico an "invasion". Trump had called the reporter a "rude and awful person" after Acosta shot several questions at him during a post midterm election press conference. He commented on the Acosta event: "Not only didn't he accost her-he said 'pardon me, ma'am.' But that's where the Hucka-B.S. machine comes in". "As visual journalists, we know that manipulating images is manipulating truth", said Whitney Shefte, president of the the White House News Photographers Association. "You have to treat the presidency with respect".

Trump also told April Ryan of the Urban National Radio Network to "sit down" and wait her turn.

Yet even in the undoctored video, Acosta can be seen trying to pushing away the intern's arm as she tried to reach for the microphone after the president clearly said, "That's enough" to Acosta.

Musk settled with the Commission on a 2nd investigation into his claims on the "420" Twitter that he would take Tesla private. The Tesla founder had announced earlier this year that he expects to travel to India in early 2019.

Trump has frequently attacked the media, including during his presidential campaign. But he said there could be others.

CNN responded with a statement.

Sanders noted that Trump took 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the lengthy press conference that lasted 90 minutes-the first one he's held since the midterm elections.

Despite losing his White House pass, Acosta travelled to Paris this weekend to cover Trump's trip to meet with world leaders. "In fact, she asked the most pertinent question of the day", CNN said. Trump responded: "Well, I'm not a big fan of yours, either". You have to treat the White House with respect. "Abby Phillip did not ask a "stupid" question today at the White House. You ask a lot of stupid questions", he said, shaking a finger at the journalist, then walking away. The video does not show Acosta putting his hands on the woman.

During the news conference, Trump also turned on reporter Yamiche Alcindor of PBS' "NewsHour".

Between Ryan, Phillip and Yamiche Alcindor of PBS' "NewsHour", that makes three black, female reporters that the president dealt with harshly in the past three days.

And CNN has slammed the White House for its actions. And Acosta has been one of the more visible thorns in the side of the White House.
