In Lengthy Rant, Stone Ally Jerome Corsi Claims He's Expecting Indictment

Rightwing author Jerome Corsi: I expect Mueller to indict me

A journalist who has testified twice before the Mueller grand jury said Monday that he expects to be charged in the coming days in the special counsel's investigation.

Jerome Corsi, a rightwing author and conspiracy theorist, has said he expects to be criminally indicted by Robert Mueller, the special counsel.

Law Professor Jonathan Turley said Tuesday on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" that if Special Counsel Robert Mueller's most powerful charges are for false statements and focus on Trump-supporting figures, it would be like "shooting the wounded".

Corsi came under suspicion because he had allegedly boasted to associates that Wikileaks had a stash of emails taken from the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, before their publication.

On Monday, Corsi - a former Infowars editor, said in a livestreamed video that he expects to be charged with perjury despite spending 40 hours in discussions with prosecutors, and that the talks had "all blown up", according to Politico.

It was reported in June previous year that Farage had become a "person of interest" in Mueller's investigations due to the Brexiteer's close ties with the Trump campaign and White House through his close friendship and association with Steve Bannon.

"In the final analysis, I want everyone to know, to the best of my recollection, I never met Julian Assange".

Jerome Corsi told viewers of his YouTube live-stream broadcast that he'd been cooperating with the inquiry since receiving a subpoena from Federal Bureau of Investigation agents at his home in August, "three days before my 72nd birthday".

Corsi said that he provided investigators with two computers he used in 2016 as well as his cell phone.

Clinton may launch a 2020 bid for the Oval office
Narrow losses in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin doomed her candidacy, however, delivering a stunning upset win to Trump. It's worth noting that Clinton has said she won't run for president again, despite several people speculating she might.

British investigators have revealed that they suspect that Banks did not invest his own money into the Leave campaign, and many analysts say they suspect the money was funneled into the campaign by Russians connected to Banks and Mellon.

His explosive book "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump" spotlights a conspiracy to destroy the Trump presidency, and delineates what the president must do to prevail.

"I fully anticipate that in the next few days, I will be indicted by Mueller", he said, as he made a pitch for donations to his legal defence fund.

In a statement to TPM, Roger Stone conceded that the Mueller probe had access to communications between him and Corsi.

Corsi said he was questioned in Washington two weeks ago.

In Monday's livestream, Corsi said that he predicted WikiLeaks would release the hacked emails because he "figured it out", as opposed to him being in contact with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

He said: "The issue they went to over and over and over again was: who was my source with Assange?"

The trip puts Corsi in company with George Papadopoulos, Michael Cohen, and Joseph Mifsud as people in the orbit of the Russian Federation investigation who travelled to Italy during the 2016 presidential campaign.
