NYT Admits Trump Hotels Tightened Policy Against Hiring Illegals in 2015

Illegal Immigrants Trump Golf Course

A pair of women who say they got jobs using fake documents that brought work at Donald Trump's Bedminister, New Jersey golf course have come forward to reveal their labors and blast the president for his "insults" against immigrants.

Morales said she made a decision to speak out because she felt exhausted of the president's unceasing vilification of immigrants.

Morales-who is still now employed at the gold club-also revealed she will be looking into filing a lawsuit claiming abuse and discrimination after a supervisor made hurtful comments about her intelligence and undocumented status.

Their attorney Anibal Romero claims at least a dozen undocumented immigrants are on the club's payroll which, if true, conflicts with the president's position on illegal immigration. One of them is Victorina Morales. The paper's refusal in the article to follow the money in the immigration debate undermines the newspaper's claim to be a supporter of ordinary people against powerful people. There is no reason that a customer or Trump would be able to differentiate between a legal H-2B worker and an illegal worker.

Fighting undocumented immigration has always been one of the main points of Trump's presidency. 'We sweat it out to attend to his every need and have to put up with his humiliation'. Noticing that Ms. Morales, who is shy of five feet tall, could not reach the top, he said, "Excuse me", grabbed her rag and wiped the upper portion of the glass.

"We have tens of thousands of employees across our properties and have very strict hiring practices".

'I never imagined, as an immigrant from the countryside in Guatemala, that I would see such important people close up, ' said Morales.

The Trump Organization, which owns the golf course, did not comment to the New York Times about the women profiled in the report.

And after a problem was discovered with her old phony documents, the Times reported that a club supervisor directed her to an employee who helped her obtain new phony ones. "If an employee submitted false documentation in an attempt to circumvent the law, they will be terminated immediately".

Morales, as it turns out, is an undocumented immigrant who entered the United States in 1999.

The White House declined to comment. Because falsifying these documents is so easy, E-Verify, which is required in 22 states, goes the extra step of checking them against records kept by the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Morales expects she will have to leave her job as soon as her name and work status are made public. Today, she spent the day with her lawyer, and as news of her disclosures spread, she did not answer a phone call from her supervisor at the golf course.

But federal law threatens companies and CEOs who quiz employees about their legal status - no matter how poor their English.

"I ask myself, is it possible that this señor thinks we have papers?" "Why wouldn't he figure it out?"
