Sixers guard Fultz out indefinitely with thoracic irritation

The Sixers are calling Fultz out "indefinitely" but there's optimism that he can return within an approximate range of three to six weeks, league sources tell ESPN.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN Tuesday, Fultz's agent says he's been "diagnosed with Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, (TOS), a physical injury that affects nerves between the neck and shoulders".

Physical therapy was recommended for Fultz before returning to play.

Fultz, the 2017 #1 overall pick by the Sixers, missed most of his rookie season with a shoulder injury and his struggles shooting the ball have been well documented over the course of his young National Basketball Association career.
