Cristiano Ronaldo to submit DNA in Vegas rape case

English model Jasmine Lennard vows to expose Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo

Authorities in Las Vegas have issued a warrant to obtain DNA from Cristiano Ronaldo to see if matches that found on the dress of a woman who accused the soccer superstar of rape, The Wall Street Journal reports.

However, in previous statements Christiansen has strenuously denied the allegations, alleging that what occurred in Las Vegas was consensual.

Mayorga went public with her story in an interview with Der Spiegel in September, saying the Portuguese global raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room after a chance meeting in June 2009.

Ronaldo doesn't deny that he and Mayorga had sex.

Mayorga, now 34, reported to police that she'd been raped and received a medical examination. Now, she is looking to help Kathryn Mayorga build a legal case against Ronaldo for sexual assault.

Ronaldo then allegedly raped Mayorga, despite her screaming "no", before saying: "Sorry, I'm usually a gentleman".

Chargers have given Patriots' Tom Brady fits in playoffs
With the Houston Texans losing to the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, we know something about one AFC divisional-round matchup. It was the only quarter of Wilson's career, including playoffs, in which he had negative yards passing.

The official who spoke with the Journal said police sent the warrant to court officials in Italy, where Ronaldo plays for the Italian club Juventus in addition to Portugal's national team.

"Mr Ronaldo has no specific recollection of meeting Ms Lennard 10 years ago or at any point", Ronaldo's lawyers tell E!

As the night progressed, the footballer reportedly sexually assaulted Mayorga in his bedroom after cornering her inside one of the suite's bathrooms. Mayorga filed a police report at the time, and claims that she later accepted a $375,000 payment in exchange for dropping the charge.

Previously, Legit.ng had reported how Portugal global Cristiano Ronaldo was accused to have ordered American lady Kathryn Mayorga to sign secret document for her to remain silent over her claims.

The Las Vegas Police Department reopened its investigation in early October, with Thursday's developments the first significant ones that have appeared to move the case forward.
