Dave Grohl chugs beer, falls off stage at Las Vegas show

Dave Grohl Foo Fighters beer

Grohl and the boys performed Wednesday night in Las Vegas as part of the massive consumer electronics show CES 2019 when the singer slipped and fell from the stage.

Grohl then cleverly, or not so cleverly, positions the beer can on top of a nearby speaker so that he can sip from it while he continues to play guitar, but only manages to knock the beer over, inundating the piece of audio equipment. Instead, he plummeted to the ground.

The Foo Fighters deliver awesome performances when they perform live - getting fully into it, mixing it up with great cover songs and giving 110 percent on stage.

It's not the first time Grohl has taken a spill.

Rescuing the drink, he then took a long swig, restarted his solo and climbed back up to the main stage before falling backwards and being caught by shocked security guards. "Dave Grohl: like Bud Light, and hates gravity", has commented on the Fan Instagram Video.

However, there didn't seem to be any serious damage, except for maybe a bruised ego, as he quickly got back to his feet and continued the show.

The former Nirvana drummer was forced to pull his band's headlining set at Glastonbury in 2015 - with Florence + The Machine stepping in for the slot at the music extravaganza in Somerset, England - after breaking his leg on stage at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

He told the crowd: "I nearly broke my f***ing leg over there".
