Details Over Top Sanders Advisor's Alleged Sexual Misconduct With Subordinate Emerge

Sanders Apologizes for Harassment Among 2016 Campaign Staff

Sen. Bernie Sanders apologized Thursday following multiple reports of women who were sexually harassed or assaulted by one of his staffers during his 2016 presidential bid. However, to the women who were allegedly harassed, he said that "what they experienced was absolutely unacceptable and certainly not what a progressive campaign, or any campaign, should be about".

He says rhetoric about "ending sexism and ending all forms of discrimination. can not just be words".

An unnamed woman accused the aide, Robert Becker, of forcibly kissing her shortly after the Democratic National Convention in July 2016.

Becker has since denied the allegations.

More than two dozen former staffers recently sent a letter to Sanders and his aides, seeking a meeting regarding the "sexual violence and harassment on the 2016 campaign" ahead of another bid for the presidency.

"I'm not going to sit here and tell you we did everything right in terms of human resources", said Sanders.

Sanders, a potential 2020 contender, conceded in his Thursday statement that the "standards and safeguards" on the campaign were "inadequate".

Arnautovic moved to London Stadium for a club-record £20m fee from Stoke in July 2017 and his contract runs until 2022. They paid £20 million for him, which is nothing in the current market.

The People for Bernie Sanders and Organizing for Bernie, political action committees unaffiliated with a possible Sanders campaign, announced on Thursday that the 400 events prove there is already "an army of community led organizers already ramped up to put him miles ahead of other candidates in the 2020 race".

Trump himself has been accused by several women of sexual misconduct, but has denied the allegations. It must be a reality in our daily lives. "Then he moved his hands to her head and forcibly kissed her, putting his tongue in her mouth as he held her, the woman and other sources said".

CNN reported on Wednesday that Jeff Weaver, the longtime Sanders confidant and 2016 campaign manager, will not return to the role he held in 2016 should Sanders made a decision to run again, and Friends of Bernie Sanders confirmed this to VTDigger.

"Boy is that a tough answer to defend, of course", responded Todd, "because if you're running to be the president of the United States, If you can't manage a campaign how do you manage a country?" Nevertheless, said Bannon, "I think he will run".

The allegations have cast a shadow on Sanders' potential 2020 run in a likely crowded field of Democratic contenders. Rather, Weaver told CNN, he'd serve as "a strategic adviser that needs to deal with some of the 30,000-foot issues as opposed to the management of a day-to-day campaign". Additionally, numerous women have complained they were paid less than men and forced into inappropriate and uncomfortable situations, according to The New York Times.

But he said that his 2018 Senate re-election campaign had "established some of the strongest sexual harassment policies in the country", giving employees access to contact an independent human resources firm to voice their concerns.
